Blueberry Banana Smoothie

This is such a refreshing and filling smoothie on a hot summer day! My kids love the natural sweetness, and I love that there is nothing but healthy ingredients. With only 6 whole foods in this smoothie, it is a cinch to whip together and also works great as a quick breakfast or even dessert. Guaranteed to cure any sweet tooth!

As always, I’m looking for ways to sneak in more flax and chia seeds and they just work so well with banana base smoothies. Why flaxseed and chia? These two little seeds are so nutritious think OMEGA-3, fiber, protein, calcium, magnesium, and loaded with antioxidants.
